Why I Love Napping In My Car

Not only am I a fan of napping, I'm also crazy amazing at it and napping in my car is a new adventure for me. Yes it makes me feel more like a hobo, and yes I'm paranoid that people are watching me, but there is something very freeing about being able to do your favorite thing (and napping is literally my favorite thing of all time) anywhere you go.

Somethings to prepare for when planning on regularly napping in your car:

1. The Sun: It can be your worst enemy, especially if you are someone who is used to a pitch black room while napping. For situations like this I have to insist you buy a sleeping mask. Not only are they nifty sun defeaters, but they can also be freaking cute. Get one like Holly Golightly if you're having trouble deciding. That way you won't have to worry about looking pretty while you snooze.

2. Comfort: I have no guilt in buying a cozy blanket and a mini pillow and storing them in my backseat for emergency napping. I have no shame sir! I will throw out that cozy blanket, prop my head on that mini pillow and snooze for a lunch hour like nothing. Plus you're always ready for an emergency sleep over...

3. Commitment: If you are going to do it... do it. Take your shoes off. Throw back your hair. Whatever it takes. And tell your friends! The more people who are open to their weird napping experiences the less strange the looks we will get become when we say "be right back I'm gunna go take a nap in my car..."

Bears Don't Run Into Things

I ran into the edge of a door this morning and then I watched a series National Geographic was doing on baby black bears. You gotta take the bad with the super cute and adorable I guess...

Blinky, Pinky, Inky & Clyde

Do you think Mr. and Ms. Pac-Man were happily married? I've always wondered this, mainly because you rarely see them actually together. Yes the story of their love was depicted in the transition stages of the Ms. game, but nothing of Mr. Pac's so called "love" was mentioned in his game at all. Plus she went by Ms. not Mrs., which now that I think about it kind of means that they were already related before they bumped into each other while running away from ghosts. Were the Pac-Man's cousins who married after a meet cute during a family reunion where the ghost represented their fallen relatives?! I think yes.

Movie Muse = Jane Eyre

"You can't give half a sacrifice, you must give all."

This girl must have been the sole heir to all the pain and suffering in the world. Is it fair to call this movie happy depressing and on a side note I must mention that I've never loved the look of grass so much than in Jane Eyre. Maybe it's the dark tone of this film that makes it pop but for some reason the earth glows like emerald candy. It's not all candy colored grass and giggles. This one's not a happy tale. If you've heard anything of the stories of the Bronte family you'll know that, but it is quite sweet and a grand journey through ruffled sleeves, mean old ladies and tall strong handsome gentlemen. One of which being the lovely Jamie Bell... he's not THAT tall, but it still counts.

Will You Be My Companion Cube?

About a week(ish) ago I treated myself to some time wasting/brain stimulating fun. Now, Dani never does this only because once she does she gets so deeply enthralled in the pixelated goal of success that she forgets to eat food and sleep sleep. But like I said I was treating myself and needed a game that guaranteed greatness, and I mean greatness at dopamine inducing levels. Everyone has always said good things about the Portal series so, like a good girl I started at the beginning (there are only 2, but still). Less than 12 hours later... I killed that snarky GLaDOS. I kilt 'er good. Then I went on Etsy and found these gems to remember my victory by:

Saving up time and money for Portal 2!
